Operating Instructions:

1. Before plugging in, ensure the iron’s voltage matches your local power supply.
2. Place the iron in an upright (heel rest) position and allow it to heat for 2 minutes before use.
3. The pilot light will glow when the iron is heating. It will turn off once the selected temperature is reached. The thermostat maintains the desired temperature by cycling the power, causing the light to turn on/off automatically.
4. Start ironing synthetic fabrics at low temperature. As temperature increases, proceed to iron wool, cotton, and linen. The iron heats up faster than it cools, so allow time when switching to a lower setting.
